Members enjoy a wide range of social events throughout the year

Every Tuesday evening we have a very popular Members’ cash draw with the option to also enjoy an excellent supper, so you don’t have to cook before making your way to the golf club. This is always very well attended, so much so, that the prizes for the raffle on the night that accompanies the members draw could see you buying those new golf shoes you had your eye on in the Pro Shop.

We also have a number of quiz nights and Bistro evenings spread throughout the year with varying themes.

Our Sunday Carvery lunches are very popular – but you need to book early!

We also stage a Santa Lunch for families – our very own Vice Captain dresses as Santa with his helper Elfie!

Our annual Themed Ball is a highlight of the social year. We hold a Candlelit Dinner with Carols, in December.

There is an active Bridge Section – Men’s, Ladies and mixed play – as well as internal and Open tournaments.

Afternoon Tea every Sunday and Monday between 2.00 – 5.00pm – Sandwiches, Scones & Small Cakes with a choice of Loose Tea or Filter Coffee.

We continue to offer something new and exciting for our growing membership, 2018 saw our first Casino night which proved extremely popular, and 2019 saw our first Murder Mystery night, which was performed by a local amatuer dramatic society.
